CBM Production Services
Cologne Book Manufactory provides print & production services to publishers, print buyers and manufacturers. This includes product development support and the organisation of print-runs in the predefined standards of the CBM Product Portfolio based upon the RPN Assessment Framework.
CBM also supports companies on request on topics like product safety, sustainability, due diligence obligations and other quality management topics in print productions. For the organisation of audits and safety tests and other compliance topics, CBM cooperates with selected certifiers, testing laboratories and experts.
Sustainability & Compliance First
For the assessment of our materials, products and supply chains we consequently use the standardized RPN Assessment Framework which covers a wide range of quality and compliance requirements which matter in the print & publishing sector, such as
- Quality standards like ISO 9001 and specific standards of the print & paper sector like ISO 12647
- CSR Standards like the UN Global Compact, the Ecogood Standard (ECG), the GRI Standards and CSR legislation such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
- Labour, social and due diligence standards such as the ILO Labour Standards, amfori BSCI, ICTI and Fair Trade as well as legal due diligence standards, like the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD)
- Environmental standards like ISO 14001, EMAS, ISO 50001 as well as CO2-Emmission-Compensation-Standards like Climate Partner and the Gold Standard
